- Your Assignment: Create an Animal
- Many animals that once lived on earth are now extinct.
You are to create your own animal that may have existed.
No dinosaurs allowed!
- Your project is to include:
- An illustration of model of the animal.
- A complete written description of the animal.
The description must include if your animal is a
herbivore, omnivore, or carnivore.
- You must provide a map where it once lived to
include the continent and country. The map must
include at least one or more land forms which we
had discussed in social studies/science such as
an island or peninsula. Don't forget to include
a compass rose.
- You must also provide an illustration or model of its
habitat.
- Finally, you will present your animal to the class.
- How you will be graded:
- Creativity.
- Your class presentation.
- Your model or illustration.
- The written discription that will be handed in to me.
(Including punctuation and spelling.)
- If you are making models, you may include the model of the
animal with the model of its habitat. If you chose
illustrations, you must do two separate drawings.
- Project Due:

- Late projects will not receive full credit unless there is
a family emergency.
- Have a great time with this project. This project
can be a lot of fun!
